A bit about me
I'm Luca Mariotti, a PhD student in Computer Data Science at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (UNIMORE), supervised by Prof. Federica Mandreoli.
My academic journey has taken me to the frontiers of artificial intelligence applied to natural language. My research focuses on Knowledge Graph Enrichment, Relation Extraction, Large Language Models, and the evaluation of conversational systems.
I'm an active member of ISGroup and participate in the European project WASABI (Grant Agreement No. 101092176), focused on Digital Intelligent Assistance solutions and human-AI collaboration in the manufacturing sector. Within the project, I contribute to the development and evaluation of digital assistance solutions for knowledge-intensive manufacturing processes, with a focus on operational support, quality, and human-AI interaction.
Before my PhD, I earned my Master's Degree in Computer Science with honors and my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Parma. I also served as Adjunct Professor for the Databases course at UNIMORE during the academic year 2022/2023.
